<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Les auteurs présentent la technique généralement utilisée pour mettre en évidence les chromosomes et rappellent les principales anomalies morphologiques présentées par ceux-ci, anomalies pouvant survenir spontanément. Les résultats d'une enquête effectuée sur 109 sujets non exposés à des substances chimiques rélèvent la présence d'anomalies. Une brève analyse bibliographique rapportant les résultats d'enquêtes faites auprès de travailleurs exposés au benzène, au chlorure de vinyle et à certains métaux, montrent que ces substances provoquent une augmentation des anomalies chromosomiques</abstract>
