<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Généralités sur la robotique en France et résumé de cas d'accidents dans divers pays étrangers. Résultats de l'enquête INRS-CRAM: conséquences sur les accidents et les conditions de travail, risques inhérents au système homme-robot et étude des incidents, moyens de protection mis en oeuvre, influence de l'environnement sur le comportement du robot. Cette enquête montre le rôle bénéfique de la robotique sur la prévention des accidents du travail, des maladies professionelles ainsi que sur les conditions de travail, mais elle fait apparaître des risques nouveaux, dus principalement à des dysfonctionnements. Si le niveau de sécurité est en général suffisant en cours d'exploitation normale, ceci n'est plus vrai lors des opérations de nettoyage, de maintenance, de réglage, de programation... La nécessité de mettre en oeuvre, dès à présent, des dispositions de sécurité s'impose, compte tenu de l'extension constante de la robotique et de l'évolution de celle-ci</abstract>
