<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La coexistence de plusieurs méthodes de mesure de l'affaiblissement acoustique des protecteurs individuels contre le bruit conduit à des difficultés d'interpretation des performances annoncées. La présente note a pour objet de rappeler les différentes méthodes et indices d'évaluation de l'affaiblissement actuellement utilisés et leurs limites d'emploi. Elle présente également les résultats d'une étude conduite à l'INRS et s'inscrivant dans un cadre européen, ayant permis la comparaison de résultats fournis par la méthode objective "ISO", la méthode subjective "ISO" et la méthode subjective "AFNOR", sur différents indices d'affaiblissement</abstract>
