<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Le port d'une double protection auditive (serre-tête plus bouchons d'oreille) peut s'avérer nécessaire lors de l'exécution de travaux particulièrement bruyants. Cette note présente les affaiblissements globaux (indice ISO: "ENR80") apportés par 32 couples de protecteurs, calculés à partir de données provenant de la littérature et d'essais complémentaires effectués à l'INRS. Par ailleurs, une formule empirique simple reliant l'affaiblissement global ENR80 procuré par le couple de protecteurs à celui apporté par chacun des appareils a pu être établie. Cette formule s'applique également à l'indice "ALa" actuellement normalisé en France. Elle pourra être utile pour estimer l'affaiblissement apporté par un couple quelconque de protecteurs</abstract>
