<abstract displayLabel="Summary">In the initial historical follow up study an increased risk of cancer for arc welders exposed to fumes containing chromium and nickel in the Federal Republic of Germany. This second follow up has the advantage of providing information on individual exposure conditions as well as smoking state as exposure data were collected individually. This study confirms an occupation related health hazard among stainless steel welders</abstract>
