Sumario: During the past decades conclusive evidence has accumulated that alkylating antineoplastic drugs can cause cancer, most notably acute non-lymphocytic leukaemia, and that most ADs are reprotoxic. Studies on health workers handling ADs have shown significantly increased risks for miscarriages and malformations.
