Notas: Sumario: A comparison is made between two different approaches for specifying maximum allowable exposure time to heat stress conditions. A rational derivation is given for wet bulb globe thermometer limits for different work-rest regimens that are in close agreement with the ACGIH TLV recommendations. The significance of these limits is discussed.
