Notas: Sumario: In a recent discussion at the National Safety Council, a group of 10 safety professionals from a range of backgrounds rattled off a what their organizations cover during new-employee orientation. Those are just a few of the subjects they came up with. Yet, when the group reported the amount of time new employees spend in orientation, the vast majority of the answers ranged from one hour to one day. Only one safety professional said his company spends one week in new-employee orientation. The dilemma of finding the right amount of information to give a new employee is a common one that touches almost every organization, regardless of industry or size.
