Título: Portable gas monitors : some problems of zero drift, response time and selectivity solved with "gas-modifier pumps" / I. BergmanAutor: Bergman, I.
Notas: Sumario: The detection and monitoring of toxic gases in industrial atmospheres with the aid of direct-reading instruments presents a number of problems, these may include: zero drift; slow response; lack of selectivity; and insensitivity to some gases. These problems can be ameliorated or overcome by sequentially exposing the sensor to a series of samples, some or all of which have been pumped though gas midifier layers to remove or modify relevant constituents of the gas stream. The requirements of such a system and suitable designs of pumps for application to fixed of portable monitors or alarms are discussedRegistros relacionados: En: The Annals of occupational hygiene. - Oxford [etc.]. - nº 4, 1986 ; p. 469-479Materia / lugar / evento: Higiene industrial Contaminantes químicos Contaminación atmosférica Gases contaminantes Gases tóxicos Control de la contaminación Muestreos Detectores de gases Títulos secundarios: Título: The Annals of occupational hygiene
