Título: Evaluation of air quality after the adoption of energy-saving measures in the ventilation system at welding workshops / O. Nygren and B. NordströmAutor: Nygren, Olle
Notas: Sumario: This work describes a method for investigating the effects on air quality in terms of airborne particulate concentration, after the adoption of energy-saving measures in the ventilation system, at two welding workshops, well as the effects. The method is based on the use of the iron level in the air as a tracer for the dust level. The results of the study show that the described method is usable for investigations of this kind. The anticipated level of energy-saving may be obtained by the suggested modifications of the ventilation, without any decrease in work-room air quality, in terms of the iron and dust levelsRegistros relacionados: En: The Annals of occupational hygiene. - Oxford [etc.]. - nº 5, October 1992 ; p. 531-543Materia / lugar / evento: Higiene industrial Contaminantes químicos Humos tóxicos Muestreos Calidad del aire Soldadura Contaminación atmosférica Control de la contaminación Sistemas de ventilación Otros autores: Nordström, B.
