This article includes: stemming the tide; long-term cost-effectiveness of hearing conservation; sandbagging hearing loss compensation with OHCP; reduce compensations; restrictions on noise exposure; established hearing standards for job entry and continuance; documentation of all OHCP transactions; utilization of audiometric monitoring data; compulsory use of hearing protection; education and diagnosis</abstract>
