<abstract displayLabel="Summary">The purpose of the present experiment was to examine the effects of narcosis on the VOR (vestibular ocular reflex) over a range of higher frequencies more representative of natural head movement (up to 5.0 Hz). The lag between eye and head position was also decreased by nitrous oxide; an effect that was again more pronounced at higher frequencies</abstract>
