Notas: Sumario: The objectives of this study were (1) to investigate and analyse the effects of long-term isometric contractions at different levels of exertion as a function of different muscle groups and age groups; and (2) to develop a mathematical model that would fit, evaluate, and explain functional data, which may lead to insight into muscular performance and strength decrement or fatigue.
