Título: Hand dominance and implications for left-handed operation of controls / Ron GaronzikAutor: Garonzik, Ron
Notas: Sumario: This review paper argues that the consequences of control performance among left-handed operators, who may represent a sizeable portion of the population, should not be disregarded as a design issue. This paper critically reviews the handedness literature relevant to left-handed performance. The assessment methodologies of hand laterality and the performance abilities of the left-handed will be discussed. First and foremost, this paper evaluates the consequence of the operator's hand laterality given a particular control situationRegistros relacionados: En: Ergonomics. - London and Washington. - Vol. 32, nº 10, October 1989 ; p. 1185-1192Materia / lugar / evento: Ergonomía Extremidades superiores Diseño de sistemas Sistemas de control Paneles Diseño Títulos secundarios: Título: Ergonomics
