MAP20071019961Lo, Francis B.Determination by atomic spectrometry of chromium on air sampling filters in the presence of iron / Francis B. Lo and Douglas K. AraiSumario: The present investigation illustrates the extent of the suppressive effect of iron on the absorbance of chromium in flame-AAS. Using the emission line at 267.72nm, the low detection limit and the wide linear dynamic range of ICP-AES are shown. Data on recovery and precision of this technique are presented. Filters used for air sampling at the workplace during welding operations were analyzed using both flame AAS (atomic absorption spectrophotometry) and ICP-AES (atomic emission spectrometry) to demonstrate the difference in results obtained by these two atomic spectrometric techniquesEn: American Industrial Hygiene Association journal. - Akron, Ohio. - Vol. 49, nº 5, May 1988 ; p. 207-2121.
