Sumario: If measures of noise exposure made with audio dosimeters are contaminated by radio frequency interference when radio transceivers are operated in the vicinity of the dosimeter, errant readings may occur. The objective of this study was to determine if electromagnetic interference caused by operation of hand-held radio transceivers has an effect on the results reported by commercially available audio dosimeters
