Título: Determination of handwash removal efficiency : incomplete removal of the pesticide chlorpyrifos from skin by standard handwash techniques / Richard A. Fenske, Chensheng LuAutor: Fenske, Richard A.
Notas: Sumario: Handwashing following occupational exposure to pesticides has been employed as an exposure measurement technique for more than 30 years, but the accuracy of this approach has not been investigated systematically. This paper proposes a standard approach for evaluating the removal efficiency to handwash techniques and examines the major variables associated with incomplete removal of pesticides from human skin. Handwashing became a standard chemical measurement technique in agriculture following the publication of a seminal review of pesticide exposure assessment methodologies by U.S. Public Health Service researchesRegistros relacionados: En: American Industrial Hygiene Association journal. - Fairfax, Virginia. - Vol. 55, nº 5, May 1994 ; p. 425-432Materia / lugar / evento: Higiene industrial Agricultura Limpieza Pesticidas Enfermedades profesionales Dermatología Otros autores: Lu, Chensheng
