Sumario: The present study was thus conducted on a predominantly male population of shift working air traffic control officers (ATCOs) from a number of different countries where different work schedules were in operation. The incidence of this paralysis was found to be affected by four main factors, all of which might reasonably be assumed to influence the night-worker's level of sleep desprivation or sleepiness
