The article addresses the problem of how skin surface temperature varies in an occupational setting, under actual work conditions, for different locations on the hand. The study also investigates the use of hot water immersion sinks for restoring heat to the hands during exposure to moderately cold temperatures. Modeling digital warming and cooling assesses appropiate schedules for periodic hot water immersion sink usage
