Sumario: This one-day seminar at the BRE on 11 October was held to bring together people with a breadth of experience of fire investigations to improve the communication of results and fire safety standards. The day began with an introduction by FRS's Martin Shipp, who believes that a wealth of information from fire investigations is not coming into the public domain but is disappearing into private repots. He hoped that this seminar would help to show the way around the barriers that are preventing the spread of information
