<subfield code="a">This paper studies the relationship between some socio-professional characteristics of workers carying out thread-cone handling tasks and their musculoskeletal pain profiles. No remarkable differences were found between the classes in relation to the proportion of workers showing body pain symptoms. The group of workers from 25 to 35 years of age appears to be the one most seriously affected by musculosketketal pain</subfield>
