<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El propósito de este estudio de seguimiento fue el de investigar la mortalidad en dos grupos de soldadores. Un grupo había sido expuesto a altos niveles de cromo hexavalente y el otro a bajos niveles. Este estudio y otros estudios de soldadores expuestos a los gases de la soldadura del acero inoxidable apoyan aún más la evaluación del IARC (International Agency for Research on Cancer) de que el cromo hexavalente es carcinógeno para los humanos</abstract>
