The primary objective of this study was to provide set-up values of heel velocity for slip resistance testers used in slippery industrial environments such as bakery and meat-packing industries. Another objective was to investigate the carrying effected by different levels of loads and floor slipperiness under realistic carrying conditions. To simulate the industrial environment, different levels of loads were carried on different levels of floor slipperiness with and without contaminants. An industrial carrying method utilizing a tote box with a load held against the body was used
