<abstract>Una de las primeras aplicaciones inteligentes y reales del comercio electrónico entre empresas, el denominado B2B (business to busines) es el e-Procurement (aprovisionamiento electrónico), que integrado en un work-flow (flujo de trabajo), permite a las empresas optimizar su cadena de suministros en tiempo y costes. Un sistema de e-Procurement mejora la eficacia de los métodos de aprovisionamiento tradicionales y automatiza todas las interacciones entre los empleados y las centrales de compra. Además, se aumenta la capacidad de negociación con los proveedores. </abstract>
