<abstract>El proceso financiero de titulización genera nuevos activos al mercado de renta fija. Aunque este hecho beneficie al sistema financiero en su conjunto, los principales interesados son los inversores institucionales ya que encuentran en estos activos, títulos de rentas fijas, a largo plazo, negociables y con alta calidad crediticia. Esta última característica, la calidad crediticia, hace de los bonos de titulización un producto a tener en cuenta por las compañías de seguros no sólo como elementos integrantes de su cartera financiera sino por la necesidad de aseguramiento y mejora de la calidad crediticia necesaria para su diseño. Por tanto, el desarrollo de los fondos de titulización incrementará notablemente la actividad aseguradora de la mejora crediticia en activos financieros en nuestro país y evolucionará paralelamente a las innovaciones sobre titulización de nuevos activos que se vayan realizando</abstract>
