<abstract>En un reciente informe sobre el rendimiento de los respiradores con protección facial con filtros de tipo N95, publicado en el Informe Semanal sobre Morbilidad y Mortalidad, los investigadores del Instituto Nacional de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacionales (NIOSH) concluyeron que la realización de una prueba de ajuste antes de proveer un respirador aumenta el rendimiento del respirador. Esto significa que las pruebas de ajuste realizadas para seleccionar en forma apropiada pueden aumentar la protección provista por el respirador. Este artículo describe el mencionado informe y analiza los resultados</abstract>
