<abstract>In light of the results of live destructive test on acetylene cylinders at the Health and Safety in Buxton, Her Majesty's Fire Service Inspectorate (HMFSI) issued new procedures in September 2001 aimed at reducing the risks that such cylinders pose to the safety of Britain's firefighters.
