<abstract>The article describes a systematic analysis of how stakeholder processes have affected the quality of environmental decisions. The analysis uses data on 239 case studies in environmental decision making conducted in the United States over las 30 years. The results of the analysis indicate that these should be little concern that stakeholder processes are resulting in low-quality decision</abstract>
