The association of preoperative median nerve distal latencies with surgical outcomes of carpal tunnel release is unclear. The goal of the anlysis is to test the null hypothesis that preoperative distal latencies of the median nerve are not associates with the level of apper extremity symptom, functional limitations and satisfactions with surgery.
