<abstract>MAPFRE RE cumple este año su primer cuarto de siglo de actividad. En estos primeros 25 años, ha pasado de un volumen de primas inicial de 14 millones de euros y un resultado de 20.000 euros a unas primas de 1.438 millones y un beneficio neto de más de 77 millones al cierre del ejercicio 2006. La entidad aspira a situarse, como reconoce en esta entrevista su presidente ejecutivo, Andrés Jiménez "entre las primeras 29 entidades del mercado a corto plazo" y no ve utópico, a más largo plazo, llegar a estar entre las 10 primeras</abstract>
