<abstract>Entre 1996 y 2006 el perfil de las corporaciones españolas cambió de manera radical, convirtiéndose algunas de ellas en multinacionales punteras en sus sectores. A partir de mediados de la década de 2000, las empresas iniciaron una segunda fase de internacionalización, buscando oportunidades más allá de los mundos latinos, países de la OCDE y asíaticos. A la latinoamericanización de la década anterior está sucediendo una globalización acelerada, abriéndose una nueva etapa de internacionalización </abstract>
