. — (Report EUR 11072 EN)Sumario: The report reviews the state of the art of industrial accident databases, as it has resulted from a study committed to TNO, RMC and TECSA by JRC, Ispra in the frame of its research programme on industrial risk. The study has been limited to selected E.C. countries (France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom) and the United States of America. The study has been perfomed through inquiry letters and visits payed to selected organizations, and has been completed by end of 1985. Although the collected information varies between the different countries an underlying theme is evident. it is clear that the majority of incident reporting systems are focussed on injuries and fatalities, whereas information on the causes including technical information on the phenomena associated with the incident is rather scarce. Consequently data that could be directly applicable for safety assessments and for prevention policy are rather limited1. Seguridad e higiene en el trabajo. 2. Higiene industrial. 3.
