Notas: Sumario: A study of 42 workers exposed to mixtures of solvents of which toluene was generally a major component, compared with 42 unexposed controls, has shown a significantly higher prevalence of nasal irritation, eye irritation, nausea, skin conditions of the hands, dizziness and headaches in the exposed group. There is also some subjective evidence of effects on memory and ability to concentrate. Measured workplace solvent levels were mostly below current permissible levels.
