Título: The Y-intercept of the critical power function as a measure of anaerobic work capacity / David G. Jenkins and Brian M. QuigleyAutor: Jenkins, David G.
Notas: Sumario: The present study was therefore undertaken to elucidate further the relation between the y-intercept and data collected from the five one minute exercise bouts which may represent AWC (anaerobic work capacity). Should the y-intercept proved to be a valid index of AWC, then the critical power procedure would provide a comprehensive analysis of an individual's ability to meet the demands of both endurance and high intensity work. Such an assessment of exercise capacity would be invaluable to those involved in physically demanding tasksRegistros relacionados: En: Ergonomics. - London and Washington. - Vol. 34, nº 1, January 1991 ; p. 13-22Materia / lugar / evento: Ergonomía Ejercicio físico Ergonometría Tests Capacidad anaeróbica Otros autores: Quigley, Brian M.
