<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Si algo domina en los cuerpos de bomberos españoles es la heterogeneidad a todos los niveles. Las formas de ingreso, los ascensos, los horarios, los equipos y, algo fundamental, la formación son aspectos que se rigen según el concierto y libre albedrío de los distintos ayuntamientos de los que dependen generalmente estos cuerpos. Desde hace años se buscan vías de solución a los problemas de descoordinación y falta de formación que experimentan estos colectivos pero, hasta que nos se perfilen unas normas generales por las que puedan regirse los servicios de extinción y salvamento, el feliz desenlace que todos esperan seguirá siendo un punto lejano en el horizonte</abstract>
