<abstract displayLabel="Summary">In France a law has been introduced giving a time-weighted average of the concentration of asbestos at the work place. This paper reports a large-scale comparison trial organized by INRS between the counting operators in 1979. Two methods of evaluating these results are presented: a comparison of the mean without any assumption on the standard deviation of the counts (Welch test) and a method a limit value</abstract>
