<abstract displayLabel="Summary">L 'ouvrant télécommandé en façade est un dispositif d'évacuation naturelle de fumées et de chaleur (DENFC) , comme le sont les exutoires de fumée. Commandable à distance et intégré dans un élément de construction en façade, il permet une libre communication avec l'extérieur au moment du sinistre et évite que la couche de fumée et de gaz chauds ne devienne trop importante. L'instruction technique (IT) nº 246, relative au désenfumage dans les établissements recevant du public (ERP), précise que les évacuations de fumée doivent etre implantées, dans la mesure du possible, en prenant en compte l'orientation des vents dominants. </abstract>
