<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Insurance Authority of Hong Kong chairman Dr Moses Cheng opened the forum by posing two COVID-19 related questions: Can we adapt to these challenges? And are we getting wiser? He acknowledged that the insurance sector in the territory had not been spared from the worst effects of the pandemic. The insurance industry in Hong Kong is not immune, Dr Cheng said, but he pointed to some positives to emerge from the crisis. Digital platforms are capable of reaching the underserved sections of the community, he said.</abstract>
