<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Un 22% de las muertes por accidentes de tráfi co en todo el mundo corresponden a atropellos. Es el resultado del informe Caminar con seguridad, de la OMS. Este dato resulta impactante, revela la realidad de muchas ciudades en todo el mundo  En España, según datos de la DGT, esta cifra desciende al 10% en 2021 (lo que supone el fallecimiento de 100 personas por atropellos). Pese a que se reduce un 12% con respecto a 2019, todavía sigue siendo preocupante. </abstract>
