<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Pour prévenir les explosions dues à la présence de gaz et vapeurs inflammables dans les ambiances industrielles, le matériel électrique qui y est installé a été soumis à une réglementation technique. La présence de poussières inflammables peut également rendre explosives les atmosphères industrielles. Il n'existe cependant pas, en France, de réglementation spécifique du matériel électrique utilisé dans de telles conditions. On trouvera, dans la deuxième partie de cette note, des recommandations qui peuvent guider le choix des matériels électriques à installer dans des atmosphères rendues explosives par la présence de poussières inflammables</abstract>
