<subfield code="a">The distinctive feature of the present study is that it presents data on 42 of 125 workers employed in one plant in Syracuse, New York, during 1966-82 and studied in 1983-5. Although reliable dust measurements were not made, electron microprobe analysis of inorganic particulates in lung tissues of five subjects known to have been employed in the plant showed high amounts of tungsten in each case. This is taken to indicate substantial exposure</subfield>
