Sumario: Two konimeters, the Devers and the Witwatersrand, were compared with a Gathercole konimeter as a part of a large epidemiological study. The objective of the present study was to standardize the dust concentration measurements of this three konimeters. The konimeters were compared in a side-by-side airborne dust sampling programme in the two types of mines under investigation, gold and uranium
