Sumario: An industry survey undertaken by Watson Wyatt on the Market Consistent Embedded Value (MCEV) Principles and guidance as released by the CFO Forum in June 2008. The aim of the survey was to gauge what challenges the industry faces in embedding the Principles, and what areas of concern or common ground exist amongst the respondents. This survey follows on from a survey that we conducted in 2006 on the then emerging trend for MCEV valuations among European life insurance companies
