<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El presente artículo muestra una amplia estadísticas de los diversos sistemas de aseguramiento de las víctimas en accidentes de tránsito en diferentes países del mundo. Basándose en una recopilación de los datos realizada por la Asociación Internacional de Derecho de Seguros (AIDA) durante los últimos 10 años a nivel mundial, este escrito muestra las diferentes coberturas del seguro obligatorio de responsabilidad civil de automóviles, las tarifas, los límites de indemnización financiera, el manjeo de los fondos de garantías y la supervisión estatal sobre la industria aseguradora en este ramo en más de 160 países del mundo</abstract>
