      <subfield code="a">With the support of the American Health Care Association (AHCA), the Actuarial and Analytics Practice of Aon Global Risk Consulting (Aon) conducted an actuarial analysis of general liability and professional liability (GL/PL) claim costs incurred by the long term care operators in the United States. The statistics presented in this report are based on an actuarial analysis of the aggregated long term care GL/PL claim database and related exposure data. The analysis applies standard actuarial methods to the data to develop ultimate losses and claim counts by accident year. These projections are used to calculate the following statistics presented in this report</subfield>
