El objetivo es analizar cómo América Latina y el Caribe pueden desenvolverse en las diferentes rutas que podría seguir la economía mundial. En general, somos optimistas acerca del futuro de la Región. Pero aunque se espere lo mejor, es prudente planificar para lo peor. En las páginas que siguen se evalúa la resistencia de la Región y su potencial reacción ante posibles perturbaciones y se proponen diversas acciones alternativas de política</abstract>
