<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Latinoamérica se encuentra, en opinión del BID, en un punto de inflexión. Aunque hasta la fecha, los países han sabido escapar con notable fortuna a los rigores de la crisis mundial, pero lo cierto es que afrontan los próximos años con menos margen de maniobra. Las proyecciones apuntan a precios reales más bajos de los productos primarios, a peores términos de intercambio y a un crecimiento menor del consumo privado, apunta el informe. Ello podría derivar en una brusca caída de la tasa de crecimiento de las inversiones, lo que dejaría a la región incapacitada para cerrar sus profundas brechas en infraestructuras y abocada a un crecimiento todavía menor que el pronosticado</abstract>
