<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La sociedad española, junto con el resto de países desarrollados, está experimentando una serie de cambios en su estructura de población que afectarán de manera determinante al desarrollo futuro de la misma. Básicamente nos referimos al incremento de la supervivencia de las personas. Este hecho condicionará el futuro de las compañías aseguradoras, de los sistemas de pensiones públicas y propiciará la aparición de nuevas necesidades de las personas ante su elevada longevidad y, en consecuencia, la mayor necesidad de cuidados personales. </abstract>
