<note>El trabajo es el resultado de una investigación que han realizado los autores, para proponer a EIOPA  la recalibración del Shock de mortalidad y longevidad de Solvencia II.
El documento fue remitido desde UNESPA a Insurance Europe que, a su vez, lo remitió a EIOPA.
También la Asociación Actuarial Europea, a través del Instituto de Actuarios Españoles, remitió este documento a EIOPA.
Los autores están especialmente satisfechos de que este es el  único documento que han trabajado los reguladores europeos sobre esta propuesta, un trabajo español. 
Finalmente EIOPA , mantiene los Shock como estaban atendiendo a criterios de simplicidad de modelos, sabemos que ha habido debate, han reconocido los elementos técnicos pero ha primado la simplicidad que quiere dar el regulador europeo al Sii
