<dc:description xml:lang="es">Sumario: Pablo Picasso and Joan Miró are two of the twentieh-century's most fundamental artists. While the first founded Cubism the second was active in the emergence of Surrealism. Despite differences of concept and chronology, the works in display in this exhibition serve to connect this two Mediterranean artists. "Picasso and Miró: the flesh and the Spirit" aims to reveal the points of encounter and the differences that existed between the two. Both rejected the artistic canon inherited from the Renaissance and both ultimately became the undoubted leaders of rethinking of the history of western painting and the theory of artistic creation.</dc:description>
